Dupont State Forest offers many waterfalls, lakes, trails, flora and fauna. Stop by Corn Mill Shoals, Fawn Lake, Guion Farm, High Falls or Hooker Falls. Pisgah National Forest offers a variety of trails, biking, climbing, caving, hunting and fishing. Take a break at one of the many picnic areas, stop by the target range or spend the night at one of the campgrounds. Great Smoky Mountains National Park offers hiking through ancient mountains, camping and diverse plant and animal life. You may even see some black bears during your visit! Lastly, Blue Ridge Parkway allows you to take in the flora and fauna and a wide range of habitats along the Appalachian Mountains. After your hike stop by a brewery or restaurant to refuel.
