November 8–14: Color mostly finished below 3,000 feet, but the long views are fully open and the bare mountain landscape has a stark beauty that grows on you. Light is extraordinary. Crowds are essentially zero. Best for guests who want pure solitude and dramatic scenery.
After November 15: Full winter mode approaching. The Parkway can have closures. Weather is unpredictable. Beautiful for the right traveler — but call us first and we’ll give you our honest read on conditions.
